AXIS MUNDI

In Axis Mundi I wanted to represent the concept of Polarity. People find each other in order to live, because just being born is not enough.
Polarity is fundamental in our lives, because it’s in each and every one of us, and all around us. Everything is dual and in everything we find a pair of opposites.
Anyone who has lived in extremes, knows what balance is, and even that is not a certainty.
These extreme differences of degree, contain within themselves the same matrix of energy.
It’s an alchemical concept, that in its simplicity it hides a fractal dynamic, that tends to expand to infinity, like the couples that build and structure the society they live in.
It’s important for the human beings to ask themselves questions and for them to understand that they are not just an entity, but part of a Whole, for even if they are not aware of these universal laws, living beings generate connections and consequently generate energy amongst them
