Asilomar Sunset

This is a studio painting from digital images at Asilomar Beach State Park on the coast at the western end of Pacific Grove, CA. I was waiting for a good view as the sun got ready to dip below the ocean level. Several dog walkers were on the beach and a pod of Pelicans was flying south in front of me. I took a video of the scene as the Pelicans flew by and picked the best still that I could get from the video.
