Winter is a favorite subject for me to paint A heavy snowfall provided blankets of snow in a woodland creek. The crisp light on a winter’s day with strong cool shadows framed the jade colored water. Melting snow from tree branches splashed into the water and ran steadily creating a moving sound as it rushed around rocks and snow-covered banks.
