Chrysanthemums

Chrysanthemums are the most common flowers at the supermarket nearby. Every second morning, I visit to see the flowers for my paintings, and fresh chrysanthemums are always there. The lively colors of these flowers entice me, almost like they're calling out to be painted. They bring back memories of my childhood home, where we had chrysanthemums blooming every winter and I used to help my mother in gardening. Painting these flowers is a nostaligia for me. It takes me back to the joyful moments spent with my family.
