Bold and subtle colours, highlighting contrast which excites me and leaning towards abstract or non realism. There are deconstructive aspects to the vase. Creating beauty is a strong impulse for my art and a sense of movement as in the wandering vines and flowers. I love to be surprised by the process and what shows up on the canvas and simply moving forward from there to create more and more beauty.
