Essential Worker

Painted from life from a mirror view. This was the clothing I wore during the pandemic. I always felt like we were soldiers going to war during this time period… we were essential workers going out into an unknown world. My eyes and expression capture the feeling that many had during that time, of courage and a little bit of trepidation.
