Painted plein air in at the San Diego Bay in the Winter. The low sun and winter fog brought on a beautiful atmospheric poetry that I was excited to capture. I came up with the title, "Teathered",because as I was painting these moored sail boats, I met many of the captains or caretakers of the vessels that went out to tend to their boats in their dinghies, and no one was sailing on this beautiful Tuesday morning.
