Oil on canvas. After an early snowfall here in the foothills of New Mexico, I found this site along my daily walk on our property. I was inspired by the beautiful warms of the grasses along the ditch bank and the cool of the fresh fallen snow. I quickly captured some reference material , then used them to create this studio painting.
