Glooston Church, Leicestershire

Glooston Church, the lead player in this impressionist-style landscape, is a very real place located in Leicestershire County, England. The work was commissioned by family members who wanted to pay artistic homage to this site, having not only historical significance due to it's age, but personal relevance as the first Rector of the church was a distant relative responsible for our family's eventual migration to the United States. I worked entirely with photo images provided me by those who commissioned the work - over fifty reference photos, in all.
